The Alliance for Recreation: Sharon's recreational programming is in transition, shifting its focus from elementary team athletics to a broader scope to include a range of ages, activities and interests. All community members with an interest in recreational or educational activities are encouraged to propose their idea to the Alliance for Recreation Oversight Board. Whether your interest lies in youth or adult athletics or cooking, drumming or rock climbing, arts and crafts or bingo, or otheractivities or field trips that you think will appeal to a group of Sharon residents, we encourage you to explore the possibilities of gathering like-minded folks to hold a single event or start up an on-going program. Please contact the Selectboard to learn more about how to implement your ideas.
